Wander Women started in 2018 as a way to connect, guide and empower women on all-inclusive camping and hiking trips throughout Iowa. We saw a chance to bring together a community of folks in nature to relax, reconnect to a deep love of the outdoors and build new relationships to others and ourselves. Now, just a few years later, our community is larger than we could have imagined and we’ve expanded to offer backpacking trips, paddling trips and educational courses to women all across the state. It’s a dream come true!

Possibly a once in a lifetime experience. I was lucky to go and Thankful Wander Women offer this.

I had a wonderful time meeting other women who enjoy the outdoors. The crane experience was very special. The organizer, Jenn, was awesome she kept us on track, well fed and she has a great laugh. I hope to be able to do future trips with this group!

It was a wonderful weekend - relaxation, new friends, good food, and lots and lots of knitting. I am so glad I went. Definitely will look forward to more activities like this. Thank you!!

We did enjoy our Cast on and Chill with Jen Geigley MN weekend trip. Fun location, close to so many twin city shops. Good to know what was in all the food for food sensitive people. My friend and I explored outside during an optional outing. Permission to knit all weekend and relax was enjoyable. Loved having a sauna. New knitting friends? Yes, please.
